A bomb exploded in a mosque inside the Cirebon Police Headquarter compound in West Java at 12.50 p.m., after Friday prayer.
One man, believed to be the bomb carrier, died and a number of police officers were wounded in the explosion, Metro TV said, including the Cirebon Police chief.
The bomb squad have arrived at the scene and are currently sweeping the locations.
All victims were taken to Gunung Jati Hospital.
